Friday Events
What to Eat Rhubarb & Otherwise!
10 am – 2 pm Sample all things Rhubarb at “The Tasting” under the Big Blue Tent in Central Park and in Aledo businesses.
9 am – 3 pm Rhubarb bake sales in Central Park and in the downtown businesses.
10:30 am – 1:30 pm Relay for Life will be grilling Butterfly Pork Chops at the Central Park Pavilion
11 am – 1:30 pm Luncheon at the United Methodist Church – 301 N. College Ave.  Delivery in Aledo.
11 am – 2 pm First Baptist Church youth will serve pie and ice cream dessert at the Central Park pavilion.

On the Band Shell Stage!
Remember to bring your lawn chairs to make sure you have
a seat for all the great entertainment.
11 am – 1 pm Fry Daddies
1 pm – 3 pm Moonshine Run
3 pm – 5 pm The Tailfins
What To Do!
9 am – 4 pm Market – Crafts/Flea & Antiques in the Central Park Market parking lot just north of Central Park.
9:30 am – 4:30 pm Free Trolley Tours – See all that Aledo has to offer by taking a tour of our town.
10 am – 3 pm Stop by the Aledo Main Street booth in Central Park and pick up your share of 12,000 Rhubarb Seeds and an Aledo Shopping/Service Guide – ALL FREE!
10 am – 4 pm Stop in all the participating businesses to sample rhubarb treats & sign up for drawings.
10 am – 4 pm Western Illinois Model Train Club – Big Train display – 118 E. Main St., 2nd floor.
9 am – 4 pm Book Sale at Mercer Carnegie Library – 200 N. College Ave.
10 am – 5 pm Visit the Essley Nobel Museum – 1406 SE 2nd Ave.
Saturday Events
Shuttle Bus available Saturday only from 9 am till 4 pm
at the east end of town at First Baptist Church, 800 NE 6th Ave. or at the west end of town at the Mercer County Intermediate School, 1002 SW 6th St. Drop off at Central Park.  Watch for signs!

6 am – 10:30 am Aledo Volunteer Firemen serve up warm, delicious pancakes at the Fire Station – 211 SE 3rd St.
10 am – 2 pm Sample all things Rhubarb at “The Tasting” under the Big Blue Tent in Central Park and in Aledo businesses.
9 am – 3 pm Rhubarb bake sales in Central Park and in the downtown businesses.
11 am – 1:30 pm Luncheon at the United Methodist Church – 301 N. College Ave.  Delivery in Aledo
11 am – 6 pm Masonic Lodge Fish Fry at our new fire station 211 SE 3rd St. – east of Central Park.

8 am 5K Rhubarb Run/Walk takes off from the Mercer Co. YMCA – 401 SW 2nd Ave.
9 am YMCA Little sprouts & 1 mile fun run
9 am Rhubarb Recipe Contest begins in Central Park under the Big Blue Tent.  Click here for rules.  Categories include:

12 pm – Iron Chef Competition
9 am – 4 pm WOW!! Huge craft show! SATURDAY ONLY! Crafts in the Courtyard offers over 100 quality exhibitors on the lawn of the Mercer County Courthouse – 100 SE 3rd St.

Noon Rhubarb Pie Eating Contest sponsored by Mercer Market in front of the Central Park Bandshell.  Must pre-register prior to the Fest at Mercer Market – 1600 SE 5th St., Aledo.  Limited Entries!
1 pm Big Leaf Contest – Think you have a Rhubarb Leaf that measures up? Bring it to Central Park before 1 pm for the Big Leaf contest.
10 am – 5 pm Step back in time with a visit to the Essley Nobel Museum – 1406 SE 2nd Ave.

If you’re coming to the Fest to sample the Rhubarb or to buy a Rhubarb Pie, please plan on coming before noon for the best selection!

Golf cart shuttles Saturday from 9 am – 4 pm.
Special Postal Cancelation featuring 2017 Rhubarb Logo in Central Park.
Please NO dogs allowed with the exception of service animals.
